4 months old

John Michael is 3 months in this picture. Isn't he so adorable! You just want to pinch his cheeks together.

Today we went to get his 4 month old shots. He cried a little bit, which was expected. He now weighs 18 lbs. 9 oz. He is in the 97% in his weight, 90% in head size, and 50% in height.

Blue Head

Let me explain the blue head. John Michael had craddle cap and his doctor told me to put some selsum blue on his head. Once I got it on there I couldn't resist taken a picture.

Pictures Finally!

Ok, so it took me a little while to get pictures out there. I thought I was having problems with the internet service but it turns out the problem was with the operator - me.

Here are a couple of pictures of my niece and nephew with Kolby. They all had a great time playing on going to VBS, but I think they were all ready to get back into there own routines. This was the first time for John Michael to be in the pool. He seemed a little nervous but then later on sacked out for about an hour in the shade of his little float.

This past Saturday the fathers kept the kids and Lauren, John Michael, and I took a trip to Cleveland to McCarty's and Peter's. I was nervous taking John Michael in to McCarty's because of the room but we were one of the first ones there and he slept the whole time. Later we went to the Warehouse to eat. It was nice having some time with my big sis.

Ok, I am still learning so I hope this works. I thought I had gotten the comment portion of the blog on but I guess I didn't. I promise I will have pictures tomorrow.

Confused

I am not sure what I am doing but I thought I would give it a try. It seems like everyone is becoming a blogger so here I am. Shea and I have been married for almost 7 years and have 2 beautiful children, Kolby Elizabeth, 4, and John Michael, 4 months. They keep me pretty busy so I have to go to work to get any rest. I am a loan officer at BankPlus and in November I will have been there 7 years. Shea is an electrical technician and is in the process of buying the heating and cooling business from his uncle. We are a little nervous but excited.

We have been staying really busy with Kolby's extra activities. Between birthday parties for her friends, she has had VBS, swimming lessons, and t-ball. Also, my sister, Lauren, and her two children, Anna Kathryn and Brent, have been here visiting from Virginia. Lauren and I have both decided that 2 kids is enough.
