You should here Shea trying to keep up with all the names Kolby has for everyone, it is hilarious. It can be a lot to keep up with.

Hectic Day!

This day was one of those crazy days. I got a call from daycare that John Michael woke up from his nap crying and pulling at his ear. So I go pick him up and take him straight to the doctor, which took awhile to get in because I was just a walk in. During this time, Kolby went with a friend to play. While I was waiting for the nurse to call us back, I got a call that Kolby was complaining about her head hurting and running fever. Ok, so here we go, Mammy (Carolyn that works with me, Wesley's grandmother) picks up Kolby from Wesley's other grandmother and takes her to Nanny (Shea's mom). Then Nanny brings her up to the doctor's office so we can get them both seen.

Dr. Carlton Gorton comes in and checks out John Michael first. John Michael's ears looked good and everything checked out fine. He has been having a runny nose and a little green so we got 2 medicines for him to knock out whatever that might By the way, John Michael is 7 months old, weighing 23 lbs. 5 oz. and 27 in. long. Kolby was next and she was running a little fever. He checked her throat and immediately said it was strep throat. So we have medicine for her too.

A big thanks to Nanny for staying with me to help at the doctor, getting there medicine, and helping me get settled before she left. Also, a big thank you to Melissa (Mena, Wesley's other grandmother) and Mammy for all there help. It is great having family and friends around to help on days like this.

Twins

I thought that John Michael looked like his big sister before, but I really do now. The picture on the left side of John Michael looks just like the pic I just posted of Kolby.

My Baby Girl

I found this picture on my computer from when Kolby was a little baby. I think she was around 6 months. I couldn't resist putting a picture of those chunky arms. Kolby also had her strawberry above her right eye. The doctor sent us to Jackson to see someone about removing it, but Shea and I decided that we would wait and see what happened. As you can see from the more recent pictures, it went away on its own. Now my baby girl is in 4 year old pre-school and fixing to start dancing.

John Michael is 6 months old!

Just wanted to update everyone on John Michael's 6 month checkup. He is growing so fast and getting so big. He now weighs 21 lbs. and 3 oz. 26 1/2 inches long. He is in the 95% of his weight. Kolby was big like this too and later thinned up when she started crawling and walking.

He is so fun to play with. He just laughs and smiles, it makes your heart melt. They grow up so fast. Also, when Kolby is playing with him, he thinks she is so funny (or goofy). He loves to watch her sing or play around the room and his eyes follow her where ever she goes. I will get some new pics posted soon.

NEW BUSINESS OWNERS

The being of June we became the new owners of Donahoo Heating and Cooling. We are really excited and are proud that we made it though the 1st month alive.

Shea's mom, Mrs. Lori, moved to Belzoni the beginning of June and is now working for Shea in the office. I don't know what we would do without her. I feel sorry for her because Shea keeps her pretty busy. She can't finish one thing before he is calling with something else for her to do. Shea's mind is always going 90 to nothing.

Cousins

We went and ate with Carey, Melody, and Hasie Ruth a couple of weeks ago at Hometown. Hasie Ruth was born the end of December and has the longest legs. I can only pray that John Michael will be tall but I think I will I should go for him being at least the same height as his Daddy. We don't have too much in the height department.

Landon and Kolby

Kolby and Landon got their trophies for playing t-ball this summer. They had a blast getting to run around and play in the dirt.

Quick Note

Sorry I have gotten behind but we have been a little busy lately. Between John Michael's dedication and me and John Michael being sick for days and days we are finally all healthy again. Also, we bought the heating and cooling business so we have been trying to get everything straight. I will get some pics on here this weekend. Hope everyone is doing good.

4 months old

John Michael is 3 months in this picture. Isn't he so adorable! You just want to pinch his cheeks together.

Today we went to get his 4 month old shots. He cried a little bit, which was expected. He now weighs 18 lbs. 9 oz. He is in the 97% in his weight, 90% in head size, and 50% in height.

Blue Head

Let me explain the blue head. John Michael had craddle cap and his doctor told me to put some selsum blue on his head. Once I got it on there I couldn't resist taken a picture.

Pictures Finally!

Ok, so it took me a little while to get pictures out there. I thought I was having problems with the internet service but it turns out the problem was with the operator - me.

Here are a couple of pictures of my niece and nephew with Kolby. They all had a great time playing on going to VBS, but I think they were all ready to get back into there own routines. This was the first time for John Michael to be in the pool. He seemed a little nervous but then later on sacked out for about an hour in the shade of his little float.

This past Saturday the fathers kept the kids and Lauren, John Michael, and I took a trip to Cleveland to McCarty's and Peter's. I was nervous taking John Michael in to McCarty's because of the room but we were one of the first ones there and he slept the whole time. Later we went to the Warehouse to eat. It was nice having some time with my big sis.

Confused

I am not sure what I am doing but I thought I would give it a try. It seems like everyone is becoming a blogger so here I am. Shea and I have been married for almost 7 years and have 2 beautiful children, Kolby Elizabeth, 4, and John Michael, 4 months. They keep me pretty busy so I have to go to work to get any rest. I am a loan officer at BankPlus and in November I will have been there 7 years. Shea is an electrical technician and is in the process of buying the heating and cooling business from his uncle. We are a little nervous but excited.

We have been staying really busy with Kolby's extra activities. Between birthday parties for her friends, she has had VBS, swimming lessons, and t-ball. Also, my sister, Lauren, and her two children, Anna Kathryn and Brent, have been here visiting from Virginia. Lauren and I have both decided that 2 kids is enough.
